Hey Everyone,

These past 2 weeks have been interesting. Last week I started my internship for Lotus UK. Its a small traveling PR firm which handles different clients from actual cities to hotel groups to travel tour companies.

I have had to changed my schedule completely. I now get up at 7am to make sure I am at work on time at 9am. I typically do a lot of researching on blogs (travel and food). I also help manage the blog, Facebook, and Twitter for my main client, Seasoned Travel. Check out the website (http://seasonedtravel.co.uk/) #plugging

The first week was getting accoustomed to everyone and everything. A couple of differences here is that they offer me either coffee or tea at least 4 times a day. When they hang up the phone it usually ends with a "Cheers! (means thanks) Bye!"

This past week we had two big events and held a presentation to someone to see if he would like us to do the PR for his resort. Now everyone who knows me really well knows how much I love desserts, especially birthday cake! So they brought this cake in for the client and I assumed after the presentation we would all go to the conference room and chit chat over some cake....Well I was wrong!! The entire cake was just for him. I was a little disappointed but it's okay because I didnt need the cake anyways.

I was able to work on one of the events. It was a lauch party for Heathrow Express' new brand. The venue was perfect. It had a view of London's skyline, two different sections, and great desserts ;) There were a lot of media and other companies there. But overall, the event was a great success. Wait, what did I do at the event?? I gave out name tags and gift bags...I was the best name tagger and gift giver that night!! lol

Thats all for now about my internship.

Since everyone keeps asking me about class and "Are you doing any work?" Here is a picture of me in my acting class.

Now to my social life....

I went out and explored the Victoria and Albert Museum. Then my camera died and we were hungry. SO the visit got cut short.

I also went out to dinner with Dayo for her birthday. I met her out here.

Then of course I went out on the town.

Hey Everyone,

I didn't do much in these past two weeks. I did take my myself out for Valentine's day. It was probably the best Valentine's Day I've had.

I did attend a birthday party. I was a little sad they did not have any birthday cake but me being able to wear my new shoes made up for it.

The one big occurrence I made was cutting my hair again! This is the lowest my hair will ever be. I promise to not cut it again lol

Lastly,I started my internship today.

My next post will elaborate on my internship and hopefully a new adventure.

Before I let everyone know about my trip to Paris let me first say how deeply hurt I am to lost my favorite musical artist if all time- Ms. Whitney Houston. Finding out about her put me in a mild state of mourning on my last day on Paris. I'm truly hurt every time I think about it.

Earlier this week I had my interview with my internship, Lotus UK. It a travel service PR company. And yes I received the internship. I will begin later on this month.

Now to my weekend trip to Paris. I enjoyed the small things Paris had to offer and it put a smile on my face. Before I show you the sites let me show you the person, the friend, the soror I shared my first time in Paris with. Happy I had her as my partner in crime lol :)
